2 pairs of skis, 1 pair of skins?

Getting onboard with the backcountry game, and have a question about skins. My main backcountry boards are some moments, 116 underfoot. However, I also will be doing some tele stuff. My tele skis are around 100 underfoot. If I cut my skins for my tele skis, will they be too narrow for my A/T skis?

If you are never skinning on anything other than flats, yes

I got the hybrid FAT free splitskins from contour. For me they are just perfect. You can use them for all ski widths up from 100mm. I use them on my faction prodigy 4.0(112mm) and a friend uses them on the atomic bent chetler 100. The only problem with these skins is that you need much longer to put your skins on and you have to be really precise.
