shin-bangmy two favorite bindings so i will compare the two for you.
Pivot 18
-bomber toe piece but no wing adjustment, or easy wtr feature
-turntable heels, which make for a smooth release, sometimes i didnt even know i ejected
-smaller mounting pattern, which is both a pro (allows ski to flex) and a con (supposedly can tear out easier if youre a big guy)
-very little adjustment if you switch boot sizes compared to normal bindings
-another plus about the heel piece is theyre the only ones who dont destroy/round off my heel lug
-you have to unmount and replace/ buy a new heel piece if you bust a brake
Pivot 14
same as above except the new models have the wtr feature and are plastic. I personally have never had any issues with the plastic toes but will always prefer the metal housing of the sth or pivot cus im a bigger and fatter guy
STH2
-also has a bomber toe + wing adjustment+ toe height adjustment
-has rubber dampening pads
-large heel adjustment range which comes in clutch
-easily replaceable brakes
-slightly higher off the ski compared to fks (stand height)
-generally are cheaper than pivot 18s
WoosSTHs over Attacks... may I ask what you reasoning is? I personally like the Attacks and Pivots the best (Attacks on every ski I own right now) but I don't have much experience riding the STHs.
nuno81291Attack toe piece did not inspire confidence in me. Feel much safer clicked into my pivots or jesters. Heard nothing but good things about the attack but my issue with the AFD adjustment is the first issue I’ve had with a new binding. Not hating on the attack, mostly mental but I’d pay the money every time from now on to get something more solid looking.

jfang2799I had few pre release issues with attack 11s when I landed with a lot of weight forwards. I rode them at a 9 din 5' 8" at 125 lbs. I just assumed that I needed a bigger binding since i was getting better at skiing & putting on muscle from lifting , so i just got a beefier binding. Unfortunately i chose the griffon.
