JoeF2661Why did you reach out to skierman?
Flying_Sqrl_GirlHey Guys! I just wanted to start out by saying I'm sorry for the delay in answering your awesome and sometimes weird questions! I've been busy training for Ninja Warrior and the L.A. marathon (my first one!!) representing the best team ever #teamkittenrescue! You can keep up with all the amazing work we do following this link and of course following us on instagram and twitter!

Well here I am! I found the time to create a Newschoolers profile but don't expect me to post as much as some of you! LOL Let's get started!
Hey JoeF2661! I hope your day is going amazing and thank you for your question. I reached out to skierman after a friend showed me his thread about me from earlier in the year. At first I was upset but I decided to chat with him off Newschoolers. It was a nice convo and he actually came up with the idea to do this! I've seen AMA things before but this is my first one and I have to admit throwing myself out there like this is both exciting and nerve-racking. I will do my best to answer your questions openly and honestly.
DeebieSkeebieswhat was it like growing up in Hungary?
mcswizzleDear Liz,
Following the Women's Halfpipe event in the 2018 Olympics, on behalf of your non-technical skiing and low score (the lowest of anyone who did not crash), your run caught the world's attention. As a result, the world's top female halfpipe skiers who competed that day and have undoubtedly spent a far more significant portion of their lives training for the event than you did were overshadowed by your underwhelming performance. Given women's halfpipe skiing suffers from a lack media coverage and funding in general, do you feel your participation in the 2018 Olympics as a halfpipe athlete was an accurate representation of world-class women's halfpipe skiing that could improve the standing of the sport?
Sincerely,
mcswizzle

Nickc88Tell us about your skeleton career!
TrickyDick470Do you truly believe, deep in your heart, that you deserve to stand among actual Olympic athletes?
Also, what is your next endeavor? E-biking the Tour de France?
Flying_Sqrl_GirlHey Nickc88! OMG it was an insane and eye opening experience! Throughout my life I've overcome a LOT of challenges but skeleton was by far the most scary! You have to progress SO fast to have a chance at the Olympics and even with years of training, nothing prepares you for going 80 MPH head first pulling 5 Gs on turn 6 on Utah Olympic Park's track! Just saying that is a mouthful! LOL
Flying_Sqrl_GirlHey TrickyDick470! Yes I honestly do. I made it and that's all the proof I need that I belonged there among the best women halfpipe skiers in the world. You cannot imagine the feeling of being among the best athletes in the world while the whole world watches you. As of now I'm trying many things like the marathon I mentioned (finishing 13,280 out of 20,138 runners!!), freestyle rap improv, boulding and rock climbing BUT I have to say my main passion now is Ninja Warrior. In my heart I believe everything I've done in my life has lead to Ninja Warrior. I've been told I'm an action sport renaissance man or woman in this case! LOL
runforlove2018Did this get deleted before or am I thinking of another Liz Swaney thread?
Brule. Are you just really doing it for the clout?
OhJayLiz, big fan if yours and enjoyed watching your run in pyeongchang.
Any plans on making a run at womens slopestyle in Beijing? Dont let the haters distract you; jumping off the jib section takeoffs and grabbing safety or sliding down switch on knuckles as opposed to actually hitting the kickers are legitimate tricks.
Flying_Sqrl_GirlHey I'm really sorry! I'm only limited to 5 posts a day being a new member. Can you imagine? An Olypmpian being limited to 5 posts a day! LOL, JK I get why they do this.
I was doing it for me. People could have forgotten about me 5 seconds after and I would still feel accomplished with myself.
Flying_Sqrl_GirlExpect BIG news on my insta in the next couple of months. Here's a hint, it has to do with the Olympics but not the one you're thinking about ;)
VinnieF4 posts left to prove you're actually Liz Swaney..
