They used to be a good organization back in like the 80's - they've lost their place now however and are stagnant

(One of the cited reasons they can't hire good IT talent is because too many programmers & hackers smoke pot)

Plus the starting pay is 30k, a special agent (who gets shot at) gets paid 50k.

So you are making the same as the average postal worker for 20x the work and stress. Fuck. That.

Interesting point about the brain drain. The top graduate talent is looking at FAANG starting salaries at $140k and potential for $500k+ total comp several years in. Big tech has been drawing the best and brightest away from other industries (med especially) for years, that might be changing soon though.

I just saw an ad on YouTube for what it's like to become an FBI special agent over the first week of training. You can't compare it to army basic, fuck even boy scout camp was tougher as thats outdoors.

FBI special agent training looks like a stay at a 3 star La Quinta plus a YMCA workout camp. Well good thing we're 2 weeks from Trump furloughing most of them again...

Super bizarre thread and thread title I'll give you that but his crimes are a result of a rouge and out of control special council which will soon be over. If he doesn't appeal this or have these charges dismissed, I bet Trump will pardon him. Same with Flynn. Manafort can go fuck himself though.
