my friend has a house on loon lake in NY, we're going there for 3 days, sunday to tuesday i think. we have school vacation. anyone live up there or been to either mountain lately? im wondering how the conditions are. i guess sugarbush has some nice powder, i'm really looking forward to it, i usually ski shitty snow. im also wondering what the parks are like at either mountain, i'm intermediate, slide small rails and boxes and shit. cheers to anyone who can help.

about gore, i go once a week usually and somewhere else on the other weekend day, gore has some good stuff glade wise, terrain at the top of the mountain is good...basically good tree skiing....theres two parks, lower sleighride, an actual trail, one decent 20 foot table, and like a 20somethin foot battleship.....everything else on it sucks(its all tables) then theres e-gully park, that blows even as east coast park standards.....but its fun because you can lap it about 10 times in 5 minutees....its got a 11 foot battleship, 10 foot flat down, 5 foot flat...then a table with a shitty lip, and a spine which i over shot by about 15 feet and landed flat.......dont go for the park, go for the glades.....but check the gully out for a little bit....i think that covers it

haha sorry i only saw the first post, thought you were being a dick. thanks for the insight, i think we're gonna hit up gore for 2 days and sugarbush for 1, sugarbush is some expensive shit. i'm looking forward to deep snow ive never skied before and some trees better than the shit i've skied. thanks for your help.

if you get snow by then all the glades should be nice
kill kare right off the gondola is nice but short...usually alot of snow.....twister glades down at the bottom are long and wide open....lets see....up top chateimac is sicko(my favorite) pretty steep and tight....thawus is fun, espcailly early in the morning.....theres some unmarked stuff between rumor and lies(2 'hardest' trails) but i wouldnt suggest straying too far without someone who knows the place.......and i hate saying it, but go ahead and duck the ropes, i od it all tyhe time, unless there hastn been a few inches of new stuff, there usually 99% skiiable

bushes powder turned to crush, wait til it snows again to go there, and wait till they fix their park, (hopefully soon)
