GrabfateSo I haven’t detuned my new skis which I regret since I fucked my collarbone up catching an edge last week. Before I go skiing again Im gonna detune them so it doesn’t happen again but my question is if detuning will affect carving performance by much or nah?
freeskiiheroWhen i buy a new ski i always detune them with an angle grinder, because i´m really scared of catching an edge. Carving is affected on ice and hard snow, but in most conditions it´s ok. When you still want to carve hard or race a bit then you need a second pair of skis
