MaimHelpI’m bumping this because I have noticed I feel like my feet are moving more and more inside my boots. I use thicker socks and it doesn’t seem to be that bad but I get extremely sore in my calves and I can’t do manuals when I want to. I keep good skiing form and I’m not skiing backseat. Is this normal or are my boots getting a bit packed out? Also they are at the highest tightness rating and were fitted by a boot fitter and when I bought them were fairly tight

mystery3I saw a women at Squaw a couple weeks ago standing on the side of a trail in her boot liners, loading her gear into a patrol sled after she absolutely fragged both of her boots. There were little shards of boots where she crashed. I couldn't get a straight answer on how many years the boots had been sitting in her shed or wherever, but she was unhurt so she didn't blow them up in some wc dh style crash or go thall on them. I was amazed.
