Why was the style in womens big air so anemic?

Honestly i didnt see one girls big air attempt that looked dialed. They all look like their barely holding it together at the landing. Kinda makes you hungry for superunknown vids.

I noticed that too in the Olympics. I don't get it. I don't believe that women have so much less finesse and skill than men to not be able to do these big tricks cleanly. Is it just because the female community is not as large or supported so they haven't progressed as much yet?

I feel like its both. Because the female community isn't as large, there is less competition to get to the top, and pressure to progress quickly. Way easier to beat 100 skiers to get to the xgames podium than to beat 1000.

I think its mainly due to a lazy attention to detail and not holding themselves to a higher standard. It kind of makes skiing look lame because it looks like you can pull tricks off without having them aggressively dialed. Feebleness doesnt fly in skateboarding because tolerances are much smaller when pulling off a trick. Thats why you dont see too many skateboard tricks done shittily. You have to have it dialed to land it and roll away.
