I get that some people don't like the look of quads but its not supposed to be a steezy trick idk why people get so triggered about it lol

I think others have done 19s, I've never seen anything bigger landed on snow. I saw some kid from park city 'land' a 2160 onto an airbag and I'm sure there are other truly future spins onto air or water

I wonder what actual airel skiiers think of the way freeskiing has progressed. If I was an airel skier id 100% just switch to slope and start dominating

I don’t get how you possibly think an aerial skier would ever remotely dominate in a sport where just about all rotations are off axis and rails are half your score... there’s just about no transfering similarities

naw they wouldn't even be a contender in slope, not even close. big air maybe, if they really changed their axes and style. but park judging is pretty strict on style these days; i don't think even a big air transplant is very likely at all

Agreed - I mean Real Ski is pretty good in this department, but it would be nice to have a regular x-games event that is style-based and not just spin-to-win.

I know I will get hate from some on this, dont get me wrong mad respect for the fact he can do it cuz its a crazy ass trick, but whats the point. In my mind its a crowd pleaser, and id much rather see a steezy dub. It seems like every year its just lets see how many flips and spins we can get. Someday soon quads may be the new tripple, and what after that? 5 flips?! I feel like skiing should be going more in a direction of style because it seems so underutilized in comps

well yea you're gonna get hate, it's a stupid comment. It was already said above, no one thinks a quad is going to be stylish, its completely a crowd pleaser. Yes, every year people want to do more flips and more spins, are we supposed to believe that if you were one of the best in the world and had the skill to do something thats never been done, you're just gonna sit back and not do it because its not stylish? Theres plenty of time for stylish tricks, this quad was baller as fuck
