Who else is on track to lose a toenail this season?
Whelp I sure done it again. Last year was right big toenail; took 4 months to fall off and prob total of 6 to look normal again. This weekend I landed hard backseat and totally fucked my left big toenail. Just ended up draining it yum. The tip of my toe is actually tingly lol prob not good. Anyway...

- Take an AIARE 1 class
- Decide that Daymakers + your already too small inbounds race boots will do
- Realize that Day 1 is NOTHING but standing around sticking your pole in the snow
- Realize that Day 2 is NOTHING but the instructors ignoring the plan they made you make, and stopping for "learning opportunities" every time you got warm
This might be the first year my entire nail falls off pre-July. My left big toenail is about 90% hematoma underneath. Can feel the nail moving when I bend my toe
The trick is to find the smallest drill bit you can. Heat that thing up till its white hot, and then start drilling. You don’t even feel anything and you get to enjoy the fireworks once you get through the nail.
