Who else is on track to lose a toenail this season?
Whelp I sure done it again. Last year was right big toenail; took 4 months to fall off and prob total of 6 to look normal again. This weekend I landed hard backseat and totally fucked my left big toenail. Just ended up draining it yum. The tip of my toe is actually tingly lol prob not good. Anyway...
Just found this bad boy in my shower on the shelf. Took it off bout 2 months ago. Already growing back... Yes I live alone with no girlfriend that's why I have just left it alone. Lol
lost mine a week ago because of excessive swelling during the season. After the swelling stopped the toenail broke off at the base but stayed attached for a week or so. because of recurring pattern i had three layers of toenail at one point. I am currently down to two.

how did the excess layer come off? I just lost a big toenail after it being dead for 2 months, and when it popped out one of the corners was still very much alive at the root. So I have this awkward spot with like 2 roots, the new healthy nail is growing in fine under it. Will it pop out? I really don't want to go to a foot doc and have to get it cut out like an ingrown nail.
Whole thing came off when I got into bed tonight...took a few months but the root looks good and I should be good to go in a few months/a year. Sadly I wear chacos to work like everyday and I think it's a little gross for that now...gonna have to figure that one out.
First nail finally just fell off after a few months, turns out the new nail started to grow in and I fucked this one up also so I now have to wait longer for this one to fall off...

#2 Note to self: don't land backseat. Not sure how I did this as I didn't notice it at all yesterday until I got back but did jump and land backseat a few times. First time I've ever fucked both my toes so bad simultaneously...I can't ski. It's official.

My boots fit me perfectly. My dad lost a toenail years ago though. I cant imagine how much pain you must feel skiing when you are compressing your toe that fucking hard.
GKSI currently have 3 ingrown toenails and I want to kill myself extremely badly. gonna have to pull them out soon bc ski szn is over. wish me luck boys
I hear soaking your feet in warm water can help loosen up things so they arent as painful.

Liners packed out, now your foot has the room to slide forward in the boot so your toe hits the toe box.
my nail stayed intact somehow throughout my entire summer which then i ripped out half of it and a new nail grew over it thats ingrown....like i feel the nail trying to poke through my toe on cold days. its wack as fuck

I've got a black toenail right now but I don't think I'm going to lose it. I've only lost a toenail once in all my years.
In honor of the spring season that never happened for most, let's see those peeling pics. I ripped half of mine off today cuz they were smelling aka bacteria trapped under the nail 🤮
I wish it was the entire nail, cuz now I have about 1/3 of a nail left on each big toe that has to grow out

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but creams and even the prescription nail polish are not very effective. You're in for 3 straight months of no alcohol and oral antifungal nail medication...
Somewhat unrelated but fyi there has been times in my life where my toenails get so long I can bend them at a 90 degree angle. Am I Fucking dope or what

Ooh perfect timing on the bump. Mines all purple again and ready to go soon. 4th year in a row? New boots and liners too, didn't think it would happen this time.
