I am considering buying a pair of heated socks instead of adding heat to my footbeds as it would be really nice to be able to use them in both my touring and park boots and also normal shoes. Problem is almost everyone I ski/work with have heat in their footbeds but no one seems to have tested heated socks so would love to hear your experience with them. Especially wondering how durable you have found them, how they fit compared to normal ski socks, how often and how you wash them and of course if they keep you warm. Was looking at the Zainer Feet Heat socks as they are on sale but haven't found much about them.
Check out "Lenz" heated socks. I havent owned a pair but I've heard great things from the people that do. Over on the interior they are the main ones I've seen at stores. As for the fit they are a fairly thin merino wool sock similar to a lightly cushioned smartwool sock. And then to wash you just put them in a mesh bag that's included with purchase.

^Thanks for the feedback, looked into Lenz socks but haven't found any good deals around here in my size so I think I'm leaning towards the Therm-ic Powersock uni + s-pack 1200. Anyone got experience with these?

I got these for my girl three seasons ago and she can't ride without them. The nice thing is the heat could wrap around the toe opposed to the footbeds which are obviously just the foot. Highly recommend.
Warning though they run a little thicker so if your boots are as tight as a nuns snatch then you're going to be risking having no circulation and cold feet and these will do nothing.
