Replying to Alta vs Squaw Valley

Hey guys,

Looking for some advice for an upcoming ski trip I am planning. The dates would be March 2-11 over my school's spring break. The last trip I skied out west was Colorado last year when I hit A-basin, Keystone, Vail, and Breck in January. Essentially what I am looking for is some deep and steep to explore while taking into account expenses. I have a friend I could stay with for 3 nights at Squaw and one I can stay with near Alta for 2 nights. I won't have a car while I'm out there and will most likely be trying to camp in some parking lots with my tent. Any suggestions on which of these resorts may be best for me or any other resort suggestions are welcome. Also happy to meet up with other experienced skiers over those days. Let me know
