Good terrain to ski in PC/Deer Valley

tomatonaterTaking a trip to Utah and I would like to know some good terrain to ski (would like to send some backies and what not). Also heading in early March how is the snowfall around then? This is my first trip out west.

If you're coming to Utah and trying to look for terrain to send backflips, one of the Cottonwoods would be a better bet as far as cost + snow quality goes.

Deer Valley: pray for powder because the jerrys who ski there avoid it. Go to the daly chutes, charge them and have fun.
Park City: go to jupiter and the peak, best actual skiing there, woods of thaynes are pretty solid as well. Park is also on point.
Canyons: This is where you should spend most of your time. Go up to 9990 and shred the lines over there, great cliffs all around there. Also at the bottom under the charlie brown cliffs there's a good little natural halfpipe with some good jumps to learn backies on.

Didn't ski patrol blow it up?

When we went to Deer Valley last year we mostly lapped Daly Chutes or headed over to Bald Mountain. As long as there's snow, it's a fun place to be- especially since crowds are non-existent on anything that isn't groomed.

I agree. Gad valley and Mineral Basin (Especially the Bookends Bowl) at Snowbird have lots of good features for throwing tricks.
