Fog in between lenses

CryptnoThis is my third pair that are fogging between the lenses. Whats going wrong? I keep them dry and in good condition. I don't understand why this is happening.

Probably because the seal is permeated and allowing moisture in. The two lenses have a layer of air in between them that should have 0% humidity. If the air in between those lenses has any humidity at all, it will condensate and may even freeze.

Tldr: you need new lenses

Had this issue with some crowbars a long time ago and Oakley just sent me a new lens - said it was a faulty seal. I can't imagine there are that many faulty pairs out there that you'd get 3 of them in a row though.

The first was a pair of 50 dollar giros, they were fine up until a couple days ago, had them for a year. Next were dragon nxf2s, I literally had them for three weeks and they started. Now I am onto some 100 dollar Smith's same thing happened, but they came back. The guy at the shop told me I should always completely take my goggles off before walking in the lodge. I wonder if it's my new helmet, I have never had this issue before and the only that has changed is my helmet. It's a poc auric pro and I don't like to wear my goggles in the inside so they sit kind of funny on the helmet.

My friends nfx2's are notorious for fogging up for no reason. I have D1's and haven't had any problems with them tho

Also if you leave em in a car overnight they may look and feel dry, but immediatly fog up on your face.

Hard to say why this is happening, but I bet it's not your helmet. For me, this only happens when I leave them in a damp area overnight (my car or backcountry pack)

My fix has been to leave them in a bag of rice for a few days. Usually does the trick.

Don’t leave them in the car or your bag overnight. Take them out of your backpack and out of the microfiber bag each night. Put them (and the bag) in a warm dry place where there is some airflow. I put mine in my laundry room over the dryer.

After ever ski day I take my goggles out and leave them to air out away from a moisture source. I’ve had that issue happen when I left my goggles in my ski bag
