HELP. Bindings flying off (simple answer)

I say this without expert knowledge but 7 din seems low for someone of your height and weight assuming the bindings are in working order. You are also sending it off jumps at an advanced level. Dialing it up one would probably do the job safely. Worked for me and I was only trying 3's off bumps. Also, post the video to inspire us. Good luck OP

I am 5 8, and 140lbs and ride my dins at a 7 just for reference. Sounds like you need a higher din.

Also is the forward pressure adjusted properly?

assuming the binding is set up correct and your boot is in good shape, then just keep bumping it up by 0.5 until the problem goes away. Increasing DIN setting always increases the chance of breaking your leg and decreases the chance of pre-release. You have to just determine for yourself where you want to be on that continuum.

I am the same size as you, have a 295 bsl and ride 9.5 on toes/heels of pivots. My shifts I am riding at 11 on the heel due to the inferior heelpiece.

_MKibler_I recently took my rossignol fks 140 bindings from my atomic 2014 punx to the new 2019 line chronic. On my second day riding the new skis freshly mounted from the shop i started hucking for cork 9's and front flips and the right ski always pops off when spinning hard. I spin to the right and flip off the right ski so it makes sense that this is the one flying off in mid air. My question is of whats a "safer" din to put my bindings at without blowing my knees up Or could it just be the need of new bindings? I am 5'9 180IBS and ski only park since im on the east coast and the shop had my dins at 7.

I’m the same height but I’m only 150/155 lbs and I keep my dins at 10... I had them at 8 (recommended for my size and type III skier) but they’d pop off when I didn’t want them to (deep powder, smaller cliffs, etc...) 9 seemed to be hit or miss (sometimes they’d come off when I didn’t want them too but it was never problematic) so I put them at 10 and I haven’t had any problems since. They come off when I need them too (bad falls) but they allow me to try and save myself before they’d come off (got one caught on a branch under some snow, spun me around but the skis stayed on and I was able to save it instead of having one ski fly off)
