Head Warranty Policy

In my experience, Head does not honour their warranty regardless of the situation. You will just send your skis in at your expense, be without them for at least a month, then have them returned with no changes.
I had used my Caddies for 4 days, mounted with Head branded Tyrolias. I wasn't hitting rails, as I was enjoying a few days of carving on sharp edges. When I started preparing to de-tune the skis, I noticed the edges were starting to de-laminate on one ski in front of the binding and near the nose. The Caddy has a transparent base, and I could see that the same ski had unevenly trimmed materials, indicative of lax quality control. Given these facts, I thought it would be a sure bet I could get the skis warrantied, but no dice. Head Canada claimed the skis showed rail
damage, which wasn't the case, and they would not accept my explanation.
I recommend just using the skis until they break then boycott Head skis forever.

Fix the edge cracks. Keep skiing the skis.

Edge cracks are not a warranty issue.

Head (or any other ski company) is not going to pretend the edge cracks aren't there. Doing so is just waisting both your & Head's time.

Do a search on a guide as to how to do it. The sooner the better as everyday the cracks are there, water is getting in those cracks and further damaging the skis. Good luck.

How is it false advertising? In your post you mentioned the manufacturer description; that’s just basic marketing. If it’s about the warranty unfortunately from their stand point you bought their park skis last year and they probably would assume you hit rails on them and caused damage.

Was referring to the other persons problems but this is also the description of the framewall.

That’s like every park skis description dude... thanks for the clarification on what you were referring to though I agree that the other guy got completely hosed.

Well every park ski description is misleading

HEAD's warranty process used to be really good. I warrantied two pallets of iM70s. Probably around 90 pairs. No questions asked.

Nope. The description just says that they are durable, which I'm sure is true. And seems like they've lived up to that, you've got no breaks, no delams, no core shots, etc. But park skis get edge cracks, it's part of skiing and there's no way around it. When you crush metal against metal it can crack, no matter how well it is made.
