Gore is my favorite east coast mountain. You come here for steeps and trees.

Yeah its pretty fuckin gnarly for the east coast. Won a free trip there a few years back it was tight.

The gully, skitoga, johara, copper dave, bean dip, the maps of random "secret glades", shitty race skis or socks at park comps, chummer, etc.

Fuck I miss that place. Some great steeps and tree skiing. Lapping straightbrook quad even on busy days can be super chill.

The park will always suck at Gore. It's fun to lap with friends, but that shit might kill you. Be safe. Gore builds some sketchy shit.

It's my home Mt and I love it. But the park has been straight garbage for as long as i can remember. The "secret" glades are where it's at.

I hope every year that either west or them get their shit together and build a decent park. It never happens but I'm still pulling for them.

Both places fucked me over. West was kind of twice. But still will always have nothing but love for those mtns. Just a bummer to see the parks never step up.

I'd love to go rip lies on a nice bluebird mid february morning around 10 am when the sun bakes that top layer and it starts to peel. It was nice to make it out opening day a few years ago. I think it was the first time I rode Gore in 3 or 4 years. Unfortunately the last time as well. I miss that place.

Gore is an awesome place to be (unless you're a park rat- you won't have a great time haha). Big mountain without crazy lift lines. Lots of different places to be when the snow is soft

Honestly just the gondola that gets bad generally and you go the triple right there. Is the new lift a triple or quad actually? Whatever doesnt matter. Straight brook is dope, high peaks is solid as well. Adk express gets ya to the parks.

I miss the savage days or gorey gully

replaced the old ADK triple with a high speed quad. rode up with patrol yesterday they think that in a few years all the chairs will be those detachable high speeds. hope they keep the old school double on the dark side- it’s a classic

Bummer. That straightbrook quad fucks. For a fixed grip that thin moves pretty good. Also a fan of that darkside.

Will say whatever the fuck the wuad is by Tahawus or however you spell that shit is super slow. Like northwoods quad or something. Idk, was never in that area much anyway.
