Going to travel Europe, give me location suggestions please!

I've been thinking about my future and decided to travel to Europe soon, traveling to some different places, picking one, learning the language, and living there, temporarily at least. What're some good cities and places to visit? (This will likely not be during ski season, so skiing is of no concern)

Prague is gorgeous but the people can be pretty cold. Berlin is an absolute blast and a super interesting city in general with all of its history. Salzburg is stunning but pretty low key and slow moving. Let your demons loose in Amsterdam - you won't regret it. I've always wanted to go to the Swiss Alps as I've heard the towns and people are magnificent. All depends on what you're lookin' for though. Can't speak for a lot of places but I'd live in Germany for an extended period in a heartbeat.

Southeast Asia is great but Europe is pretty easy to travel and you can go to a ton of places.

OP, there are cheap flights all over, also trains and buses. I usually rocked trains because city center to city center rather than ending up at random airports. Prague and Budapest are both good ones to add in.



I would say make some plans but don't structure it too much. Transportation is easy, so be open to the random detours. I like Barcelona a lot as well. You can catch flights from Barcelona to Marrakech for $100 if you wanna check that out as well.

Tallinn, Estonia; Split or Zagreb, Croatia ; Istanbul would be super interesting. Somewhere coastal in Italy would be rad. Portugal would be cool, it's quite cheap and there's great surfing there.

I was in Amsterdam last year for almost three weeks because I had a return flight passing thru the airport and I got off because I wanted to go to Morocco and I went to this famous “coffee shop” called the Bulldog almost everyday to smoke and drink and the Dutch are so fucking cheap that they wouldn’t even spot me ever a 3 dollar Heineken.

My senior year I went to Ireland and it was awesome. I took a week off of school before spring break and a few days after and spent almost 3 weeks over there with just my dad. It was funny, my senior class went to D.C for their senior trip and my Pop said fuck that. Started in Dublin and made a huge circle of the island. Growing up I was a huge Irish history buff so it was cool going to Northern Ireland and checking out Belfast and Derry where the troubles started. Over to the west where the Irish language and culture are prominent to the South in county Cork where as a 18 year old American I reinforced the stereotype of the "ugly American". Lol , not really but I did pass out at Mass with my dad and we still chuckle about it to this day.

Tl;Dr: if you are not interested in skiing go to Ireland, it's dope.

I really want to go there. I lived in London for two years at school and loved it.

Seems like 10 months too long? Nah if was to go to Africa I think Morocco would be dope. Also the Congo, the one without democratic in it's name.
