Replying to Do Pros care about AFP standings?

I was wondering if they even care. I've seen some skiers really high in the standings and they don't ever get invites the X-games/Dew Tour. Is this the mai point system that they follow? And...As a side not, it would be cool if X-games were a qualification event (Based on a points system) rather than invitation (in which corporations are just choosing the most popular athletes). What a battle it would be to qualify for X-games/Dew Tour because the judges thought you deserved it rather than not getting a chance because your Insta is not up to par or you didn't kiss the right ____. Well, just a side note. But, I am wondering if they care about the AFP points. It seems to me that the top 15 AFP standings should earn their spot in the X-games and it shouldn't come down to who a CEO somewhere thinks is cooler.
