What is going on with the upvotes

Being a member for more than 5 years, I am just wondering what is happening with the upvotes on most videos. I am aware that in the summer there is less people coming into NS, but during winter, I had the feeling NS was more used. Back in the days, videos were much more upvoted. Is there less people coming to NS to explain this phenomen or could it be that people just don't log into their account to vote on videos or just that people don't care about giving votes? In my opinion, many edits on here are worth money, but they are free. It is the strict minimum to upvote something we are stoked to see from the athletes. Also many edits from NSers are just sent into the shadows because nobody upvotes them and it is not because they are bad. I find it sad. What are your toughts?

I think one of the reasons for this is that there are other platforms like Instagram where people watch ski clips. Totally agree that some of the videos should get way more upvotes.

I think watching videos on youtube is becoming more popular, the new Burrrlapz edit has almost 300 upvotes on youtube but only a little more than 50 on NS. Internet forums like NS are way less popular with younger people
