Monoski snowboard

Hey guys I am wondering if anyone has made a monoski using a snowboard. I know it probably won’t ride super dope or anything but I just want to do like half a day of skiing on it and maybe a pond skim. The reason I want to make it is because I found a snowboard in the dumpster and I can probably get some bindings for like 10$ and mount them myself. If anyone has got some help or ideas let me know.

I've seen plenty of monoski snowboards. Mainly Jones directional boards. Also saw some legend rocking a split board monoski with pin bindings

Whenever I've seen people discussing this before the issues is always that the bindings will pull out. The board isn't built to take screws there so the binding interface is really weak. I think T-nuts are the solution that people have come up with

Yeah I would not be supersized if they ripped out and I wouldn’t be disappointed. Like I said I only want like half a day of riding on er
