iggyskierIt is edge cracks from hitting rails.
It is on one side because you are not swapping skis and sliding only one direction.
Fix the cracks before water damage in the skis causing more edge to pull out.
1-2 C-Clamps and some 2-part 24 cure epoxy are needed to repair them. G-Flex is the best repair epoxy available, but any good 24 hour cure marine epoxy will work.
Seal the crack with the epoxy - making sure you get epoxy above the cracks with a razor blade (a hair dryer can help make sure the epoxy gets into the ski) - and clamp it for 24 hours. Sand it clean.
Detune them before you hit more rails. Swap skis to spread the wear and tear on your edges, and learn to slide both ways if you can.
Edge cracks are part of the game. Manage the edge damage as you ski and the skis will last a lot longer.
Good luck.
