I’m pretty light around 115-120 pounds. I’m an aggressive skier and my friend has an extra pair of 14’s. Would I be fine on a 14 set at the lowest din which is 5. I have spx Rossignol bindings set at 5 now.
Pivots have more elastic travel, which just means they can absorb more impact before hitting the release threshold. Some people on here will say you can set your dins lower with pivots compared to other bindings but I'm not sure about that. You'll be fine riding them

I would rather not run them at their extreme minimum - sometimes at the limits the bindings aren't quite as effective as of they were set in the mid range. Unless he's giving you a mad deal I'd choose some a bit lower, but you do you, it won't kill you
