What are some bad cities you've been too?

Rn I'm in Vancouver and God this place blows.... It's so dirty, filled with people and expensive asf. Plus it took me like 40 minutes to figure out how the trains work.

On a side note I'm staying in a hostel and there is a guy playing a ukelele. He's very good.

What cities do you guys think are pretty crappy?

You should check out Hastings and Main. It's the nice part of Vancouver, you're probably in the shitty part.

Walk China town and look at all the weird stuff for sale. Walk gas town and maybe the skids will make where you are seen nicer. Stanley park has black squirrels. They have nice restaurants but you have no $$$

Casper, Wyoming is fucked. Meth capital of the world and the highways are too narrow and full of pot holes. I get a strong sense of dread every time I'm around that place.

Do they have trains where you came from? The metro in Van is a cakewalk.

I live in a silicon valley suburban area and Vancouver seems clean and well maintained compared to where I live. Also there is a pretty good homeless population up there but it has NOTHING on San Francisco or even San Jose.

I think you should have your head examined if you don't like Vancouver but to each his own you know. Enjoy hobbitworld, I'd like to visit the bottom one day including new zealand.

WTF is up with that? I heard this from a friend a few YEARS ago, but there was no explanation.


Also... Florence, Italy is a beautiful city, but the outskirts when you drive in from the north make it look like a complete-no-turning-back shit hole. I've also been on a Native American Reservation in western NY that looks EXACTLY like war zones in the Balkans, i've been to. Think the video for 'Ghetto' by Akon.

Being in any city is shit, really. You should go shred Cypress, Grouse or Seymour if you have your gear. You can probably get a free day with your Revy pass. There's a funky bar called the Lido somewhere in East Van. Don't ask me how to get there though.

Thunder Bay, Ontario. Lord, what a shit hole. Crime is crazy high, its always cold as fuck and nothing happens there. Sorry locals...
Montreal can suck my dick. Place is huge and regions changes names all the time. I can never figure out this city and end up walking everywhere. Sure public transportation is efficient, if you can stand the smell of piss and aggressive crazy homeless running after you for change. The city is crowded and act live they never been in a metro city. People are crazy stressed and absorbed with themselves. Urg, I always bypass by Oka, much more peaceful place to go.
The worst is La Romaine, Quebec. That place is a human trash heap. There are stray dogs everywhere, all the houses were run down and people were pretty mean. Ive only been there for 2 hours and thats all I needed to see.
