Replying to Im poor and want to get into filming-help

Howdy, I really want to start filming skiing and likely skateboarding as well, potentially some other stuff too. I am extremely new to this and don't have much money, I am willing to spend maybe up to 500 but I'd have to save up for a good minute to get that. I am really looking to get that gl2 or maybe vx1000 vibe without the dv, I don't know if that really exists but I'd love to shoot videos without having to work with mini dv. I'm too poor to have my own computer so I'd probably be using my dad or step mom and at the moment I can not provide specifics or anything. If anyone has any tips or recommendations I'd love to hear em and if you wanna school me a little thats ok too because I want to learn. I don't love gopros and I don't think dslr is the move for what I want to do but I don't know.
