If you haven't heard about this pilot who got inches from the side of the mountain to pick up a skier with a knee injury, he has massive balls. Why couldn't they just take a rope down from the helicopter or send assistance by dropping them off at the top of the slope? Seems unnecessarily risky. If he woulda clipped that rotor, we would be hearing about multiple fatalities.
