Replying to Interesting Juno Nominations
Usually I don't care about the Juno awards, but a few things caught my eye this year. Mostly good things. First off, Thornley was nominated for rock album of the year with Come Again, and they were also nominated for new group of the year. That made me happy.
But Alexisonfire was also nominated for new group of the year, and last time I checked...they weren't new. Although Watch Out is a pretty good sophomore effort nonetheless. Oh, and Buck 65 got nominated for songwriter of the year. That man is a tool.
On the other hand, DL Incognito finally got some recognition. Life's a Collection of Experiences was nominated for rap recording of the year. Atta boy DL. K-OS also looks pretty good with a couple nominations.
Anyhow, what do you Canadians think?
