Anxiety= weight loss= feeling like shit 24/7

So I am not sure what is wrong with me. It is probably anxiety. But I can like never eat and I wake up sick asf every morning. I puked this morning(just dry heaving). I have gone to many doctors and they all seem to be stumped. I get a colonscopy tomorrow. Ik this is a wack thread but I am kinda desperate. Anyone have something sorta like this?

Seems like it would but nah it's not that simple. I eat small amounts when I can. If i force myself to eat too much I throw up

Or are you a grunge singer for a band called Nirvana? I heard Kurt Cobain had the same problems and the doctors were pretty stumped too.

Fair but I've been to so many. Going again soon to get told the same thing. Might go to a therapist or something eventually

if doctors aren't helping, you should really just go to the therapist if you believe it's anxiety related. Feel better soon, man.

I second cyclic vomiting syndrome. But yeah your doc is the best bet to figure out what's wrong since they have access to all your medical records and tests.

You don't smoke pot do you?

Never smoked pot. It's not cyclic vomiting syndrome. I only puke like school days where I have to get up early. But if I wake up early to ski I won't puke

I know a kid who use to freak out having to drive to work and would puke from freaking out, so maybe it's when you're going somewhere you'll be stressed or nervous.
Try cbd, get a high Mg tincture or quality edibles, no high but is a great way to reduce anxiety, works well for me. However if it's not anxiety, idk what to tell ya.

Out of the last 3 years, I can remember maybe 3 months ( two weeks here, 4 weeks there, a week here etc...) where I'd get really hungry but the second I ate half a meal I'd get crazy full and nauseous. It was really frustrating and I'll bet if it lasted longer than it did, I'd have gotten worried and anxious. For me it went away on its own and it only happens maybe once a year for about a week.

It might be anxiety in your case? Maybe start with nutritious, green smoothies with an array of fruits and veggies, with some olive oil thrown in to at least help with calories. Move up to more dense shakes with oat powder ( just normal oats blitzed in a coffee grinder), peanut butter, banana, almond milk ( try avoiding dairy). I find that the more I eat, the better my body gets at eating, if that makes sense. Starting small then working your way up.

Also fix other aspects of your life while you do this. Do you get enough sleep? Try meditating for half an hour each day, lift weights, light cardio, no screens within 30 mins before bed. Taking a very holistic, multi faceted approach can help in situations where you don't really know where to start.

Listen to Sendy. They're finding out incredible things about the way stress, inflammation, and mental health can affect your gut. Gut biome plays a huge part in your body's function, and it's only come to light in relatively recent years. Not all doctors stay up to date on new literature and practices, so find one who understands the importance of the gut. You might have better chances with a younger doctor who is more open and driven.

Cbd is illegal federally. Also illegal in states without recreational marijuana; legal in medical states if you have a medical card, otherwise still illegal. Ordering online would also be illegal because the seller would have to commit the federal crime of shipping across state lines. Ordering online is also risky because those places likely aren't GMP certified so no guarantees that's what you're getting. Didn't we have this discussion before?

Also the farm bill only made hemp legal, not cbd. The FDA and DEA made that pretty clear after it passed.

I order it online through a company ran by a couple, they ship to 50 states and even in utah before medical passed i saw cbd products in smoke shops. I can link you to the people I get it from cause its literally just packaged and shipped themselves, they dont ship their thc products sadly.

PS normal weed people smoke has a small %age of cbd in it, hemp is legal and is the key plant for cbd

I wouldn't be worried about the law as an individual consumer. The government doesn't care. I'm just saying it's illegal per the federal government (so don't say it isn't) and the FDA has the authority and has said they will be going after cbd companies and either fining them or shutting them down if they sell across state lines.

If you trust the companies, then good. I'm just giving the word of caution that if a dietary supplement company isn't gmp certified or have some other source of independent validation, then I would say tread carefully. Thousands of dietary supplements are available for sale in stores and online that don't actually contain what the label says.

However on the other hand, these places are a dime a dozen and impossible to fully regulate, which is why the FDA acts on dietary supplements retrospectively after they're already on the market. They go after the biggest fish, and since cbd companies are popping up like weeds (no pun intended), they'll prob only go after the ones selling bad products or blatantly violating the law by making health claims or ones with the highest sales.

Don’t ask for medical advice from stoner teens online. Talk to your primary doctor about this in multiple visits over time, it will take more than 1 visit to figure this out, if it were an obvious diagnosis it would have been solved already. If you need help with how to do this PM me, I’m a doctor.

Lol I'll have you know I'm out of the teens, I'm just trying to help him use something that's helped me and millions of others. But you're right, probably should actually get it figured out so OP doesn't have to puke forever. NS is like webMD sometimes with these threads, or just a roast fest.

Writing the whole thing off as anxiety is the easy way out. There are a ton of other factors at play. But I would guess that anxiety is a major factor. I once had a problem with my jaw so I stopped eating as much. I actually dreaded eating because it was kinda painful. So eventually my body was like "fuck food it sucks to eat" and I stopped getting hungry. I only noticed when I was literally starving and it hurt. Once my jaw started feeling better I had to trick my mind into thinking that eating was good again.

I would suggest eating. It literally should be that easy. Tell yourself "I need to eat to survive" and start cramming food down your gullet like medicine. Establish some solid eating habits. Three meals a day should do the trick. I would focus on breakfast at first. It kickstarts your metabolism so you should be hungry by lunch time

I've been dealing with anxiety and I also have stomach problems for years. To me it sounds like it could just be situational anxiety. It's what it really sounds like to me because you don't get it on days of skiing. One thing you could try doing is just think of your anxiety like you're getting prepared for battle because that's what anxiety kinda is(or so I've been told).

Also don't go and see a therapist see a psychiatrist. I've seen a therapist before and when I was in there it seemed like we are having a good time but then I got out and realized he literally did nothing except let me talk so I didn't learn anything I didn't already know. So I never went back. I know other people and they have said a psychiatrist is better because they try and get to the root of a problem and help your mental health.

As others before me said CBD does do wonders for anxiety but go and speak to someone about your mental health first. They will find out what's causing and then they can make a diagnosis. I understand not wanting to take medication for stuff because I have had ADD my entire life and I refuse to take any medication that isn't natural(I take CBD for anxiety and try to just really work on being self aware for my ADD). CBD is the non psychoactive part of cannabis that can be used to treat a wide variety of illnesses. Again I understand you don't want to talk about smoking weed and it totally makes sense. I mainly just recommend talking about your mental health.

Keep going to gp' s until they give you a referral to a psychiatrist. Don't be discouraged if your gp doesn't know what to do and tried to prescribe meds instead. That's kinda just their job to say they've tried everything. They might even ask you to take a blood and piss test so they can find out if you have like diabetes or something else that could be effecting you.

The best thing I can say is you're not alone, so just keep at it and you'll figure it out bud. Just don't give up.

Just remembered this helpful tool for dealing with moments of anxiety. Try to either think of this box breathing technique or try and find any relaxed breathing gif. Going for a short walk might also help. Try and find something that works for you.

Proper diet, enough sleep, time for yourself, and active hobbies all help with me in terms of anxiety and not having a clear mind. Also go see a doctor and run some blood tests to see what things you have deficiencies in. Vitamins and other supplements are good for bulking those numbers up and youd be surprised. At least I was when I found out I had a ton of stuff i was deficient in that contributed somewhat to my issues.

I am sorry to hear you suffer this problem, if a proper diet and enough sleep didn't help you as well as time for yourself, you should also try to minimize stress and try to have a positive mind. Vitamins and other supplements can have positive affect in this issue
