T-Hall Throws Poles?

Did anyone notice that at the end of every one of tanners runs in the X Games he threw his poles away? One time he even jumped up the hill a few times threw his poles down then slid back down to celebrate....anyone know why?

no he was just stoked after landing backside lip, 450 on 270 off, 2 more switch hits and a switch cork 10. I'd be pretty excited too...
