Avalanche Beacon

Hello, I currently have the Mammut Barryvox Opto 3000 beacon which I bought in 2005. Do you think i really need a new updated one?
If so what would be a good one to get I was looking at the BCA Tracker 3.

All Trackers are terrible beacons. My old Pieps is better than the Tracker 3. I know lots of people who like the new Pieps so I would recommend them.
