ddemille1Thanks! Do you think a taller rail would help me as well?
ButteredToast.Yes 100%. That is kind of a low rail to be trying 4 out for the first time on. It's more than doable, just a rough place to learn it since you're hucking really hard off a low rail like that.
Just remember to spot your landing and don't look at your feet and you should get it soon enough. Lean forward, aggressive stance, all that good stuff.
icedGrip that rail like a dick
You look pretty unstable/uncomfortable as it
AUSTINBIKESKIyou have the video my dude...
your looking down
ButteredToast. You've got blind 2's down right? Same spotting idea there (as in, don't look at your feet, don't look down at the snow, keep your head up toward the horizon and use your eyes to find your landing zone) You should be spotting your landing the same way you do in a blind 2. Once you do that first 180, it just becomes a blind 2.
If you're not spotting your landing during a blind 2, fix that and get used to that feeling. I know it's the opposite way you're spinning for a front 4 but it should help. It might help more if you slide unnatty and blind 2 to really get the feel for it, but that depends on how good your unnatty slides are.
ddemille1I guess I'm just used to spotting with a front 2, gonna try to get these next time I go
SofaKingSickyeah just don't treat it like a front 2, just set it and forget it, don't look down, don't lean back. you completely almost have it, just make those adjustments and youre gonna be bangin 4s out of stuff no problem. super fun trick
skiguy04Yea it’s gonna be no problem.:: post video here of your first attempt
SofaKingSickhe already posted an attempt and he wasn't far off, he'll def have em soon
