University of youtube and the mean hills of Snoqualmie. I Told myself I’d get lessons if I really needed it but having snowboarded for 10+ years, I was comfortable enough and willing to teach myself than first tjan drop the $$$ for lessons.

Small mountain, went in and out of bankruptcy a few times then closed for a while. Now back and killing it for the childrens.

Also free 2 trail tbar hill in Indian Lake NY run by the town. Super cool and kept me and my sister skiing when we couldn't afford Gore.

Long live the small resorts. Those epic little cheap and free places. Rock on.

I learned how to ski when I was around 3 or 4 at COP (Canada Olympic Park)
Then I got off the bunny hill and skied Nakiska (an extremely small, icy hill)- that's how my interest in park and freestyle skiing flourished at a young age.
