Tahoe Late March

Base will be pretty deep by then, prob 100+ inches. You'll either luck out with a big storm or be skiing pretty heavy tracked out crud and soft corn.

where are you coming from? even if there's not a lot of new snow, you may be very pleasantly surprised by the corn skiing in tahoe. good corn snow is fucking fun as hell in the spring and allows you to still ski sick stuff

Coming from WNY, so anything will be better than what I ski day to day. Me and my boy have wanted to ski warm Northstar laps for as long as I can remember, and also going to head to Squaw. Other than that, what resorts should we look at for a third day?

yeah man, coming from NY means youre prob going to have a ball regardless of how much snow they get in the next 3 months.

Squaw is a must-visit there, and their sister mountain Alpine Meadows is equally sick (and you and your son might even prefer it as the layout is more traditional than squaw and has longer runs for the most part, and is less crowded usually)

if youre looking for something similar to northstar but a little better (IMO), i'd say heavenly. very family friendly, very big (in area, not height so much), and has amazing views of the lake as you ski

sugarbowl is also awesome, and mt rose is good too


you'll have so much fun regardless. just an amazingly beautiful place with some really great skiing
