DirtYStylEWhen I got my first skateboard the shop tech put red screws on the front of the front truck. If your board is designed to have a bigger tail, you should ride it that way.
Looks like you can ride switch. Weird flex but ok
DolanReloadedArent most boards designed to have a bigger nose though?
DirtYStylEI only learned the difference between street and vert. Boards that can carve bowls and ride better tend to be a bit wider and have a bigger nose. Street boards for tricks tend to be much more symmetrical
DolanReloadedI have a board with nose and tail the exact same length but the nose is slightly more curved/raised than the tail. I can ollie fine either way but im trying to decide which orientation i should stick with, (ie. should i use the nose for the tail or the tail for the tail). Do any of you jokers use the nose of the skateboard as the tail?
LukasSchroederyeah the nose is typically longer and more pointed, and the tail is shorter and more rounded
DensecloudsNose is usually longer, tail is shorter and steeper for pop
DensecloudsIt can vary depending on board shape and size, but I've found the majority of the time with my new decks, it is. I would just see which end is longer, its most likely your nose.
DolanReloadedAre you sure about the tail being steeper? I thought the nose was the steep part bc its easier to catch your front foot but if the tail is supposed to be steeper then my boards graphics are printed in the correct direction...
Can anybody verify this?
