Video Games- Getting smoked by low level players

Has this been happening to anyone in whatever games you play?

Here's the backstory: I've been wrecking cats on BFV up through Christmas eve and was expecting it to only get better with the Christmas noobs getting online however yesterday I played for the first time and got absolutely wrecked by people

Same, been playing stardew valley for the past couple of weeks (really helps with the depression) and leading up to christmas day the slimes were about 2-3 hits with my lvl 3 metal shovel and then a few days after I've been just getting absolutely smoked even by dungeon 4 mushrooms, having a hard time getting past level 45 to mine the adamanium ores :/

Battlefield isnt as fun as cod.
Call of duty is much more fun if you arent that good too.
If you arent that good at bf you get a kill like once a week.

That's what I'm saying. It takes a bit to get good at bf which is why I'm confused. I'm at least going even but it's just annoyingly different these past few days.

Just bought a switch and smash ultimate. Figured it would be fun to play drunk with pals. Realized that I have no experience in the series and get absolutely fucked in online matches.

Unfortunately the only skill I learnt growing up is being able to pown noobs at cod. I literally have over 6000 hours spread through mw1, mw2, Bo1 and bo4.

I can pick up the controller any day and fukkin destroy no matter what. The skills needed to be a God at this game are imprinted into my subconscious and muscle memory. I don't even need to think when I play.

So no, I don't know.
