LordPeekHey man I would recommend to look on FactionSki they are doing some pretty good skis
teamSESHAnyways OP, what size skis were you thinking? I'd say check out Icelantic Nomads (come in many sizes), check out ON3P (probably Kartels over the Magnus because of your size but that's your call), K2 Poachers, Armada's ARV line (also quite a few sizes available), etc. Personally I'd be looking at Kartels, Poachers and the Nomads over the ARVs but that's just my biases. All are good skis. Maybe you could rock something like Blends since they are so wide. I'm worried about the softness though.
Were you looking for a lot of rocker, a lot of camber, or a bit of both? The thing with a lot of rocker is that these days everyone is attempting to make a noodle when it comes to park skis that have a lot of it (other than a few exceptions).
BiffbarfOn3p kartels are on the beefier side of a ski, and their 191 is true to length (longer than many other 191's)
Icelantic makes some bomber skis but may be on the softer side of the spectrum
K2's measure true to length as well, an old shreditor or new 184 poacher would do you well. (Similar length as most company's 188)
Buy reputable, buy long, and have a blast man. Anything will be an upgrade.
ljackstarAwesome man thanks. TBH I never considered 100mm+ waist skis to be park skis before so this world is totally new for me. Now to save the money and start shredding.
ljackstarWell I hit a bit of a curveball. I apparently get a crazy pro deal through Faction and am I'm kinda wondering how the CT 2.0 or 3.0 would work as a park ski
MortbrokemyskisHonestly if youre looking for a park ski from faction the prodigy 1.0 in 187 would be sick. I would recommend a 2.0 but theyre sold out on the faction website so im guessing you cant get them on prodeal. Id probably pick the candide 3.0 over the 2.0 as i dont love symmetrical skis but a prodigy 1.0 or 2.0 would definitely be my first choice for the park ski. Skis with taper and directional sidecuts are alot more versatile and i prefer them to traditional symmetrical park skis going switch and forwards.
ljackstarMy only worry is that at 187 they won't be big enough for me.
-eREKTion-I believe it was brought up in an older very similar thread but ON3P can custom build Kartel 96's in a 191. Might be worth shooting Scott an email because that would be a dope setup for you bro.

ljackstarThat would be great, but I don't really have 900$ to spend on skis, at least with faction I get about 60% off
-eREKTion-Total cost is worth considering. I've never been impressed with Faction's durability, I'm pretty sure their bases are made of damp tissues and I've seen more than a few blown edges and tip/tail delams come through the shop. A pair of ON3P's will last you longer with less maintenance.
shin-bangI’ve see this as well. Factions ski great but the durability both in base and edge is lacking. I’ve never ridden them but have a couple friends with some serious base damage and another with edges falling out
