Well close enough. Hoping it goes through as Id like to be work for VR down there and Perisher might be tough to get into. Been hired for Thredbo in the past so that was second option but falls creek and hotham both seem to put out decent parks.

Theve owned Perisher for a few years, looking at buying hotham and falls creek.

That's 3 out of the 7? Ish ski areas there.

If you're looking at Falls or Hotham, I'd recommend Falls for park. Hotham stepped it up the last couple of years but their park is on the summit and gets really bad weather exposure. I didn't even get to ski it when I was there this year since it was too windy, then icy, then bad vis. I've never hit Falls, but I've only ever heard good things about their park setup, the mountain is a bit flatter than Buller and Hotham so they put more effort into the park from what I gather.

I don't really know what this means to local Aussie skiers tbh, Perisher hasn't really changed since it's been bought other than its outrageous day ticket prices, so that might be a bummer for Aussies wanting to check them out.

I guess a better phrasing would be how much they will rather than can. Just cause you can run up debt doesn't help with your stock

Ikon just picked up Buller to go with Thredbo.
