I already read the stickies but oh man, I think I need some help.
I'm getting new boots, funded by my parents. Thank you parents.
However, this has its array of problems:
-They are impatient. Neither are willing to spend over 20 mins in the shop, and they rush me to make decisions on if a boot is comfortable.
-My mom once said "we can get them big, because you'll grow into them in a few years"
-They would like me to find a brand and model of boot in advance for the sake of efficiency
-I cannot define comfortable. I'm aware boots are supposed to be "snug", but every boot I've ever tried has felt pretty snug and yet they usually turn out to be too big or small. Additionally, my feet are weirdly flat and abnormally wide, so I've got some big boy surface area.
-I'm going to be buying boots in Ellicotville, NY. Can anyone recommend shops in the immediate area that will help me figure out what I need?
That was a lot to read and I really appreciate any help yall can give me.
I really need to get this right, because there is 0 possibility of getting another boot if this one is wrong again.
