I'm helping my mom pick out gifts for my 12 year old brother and he is in need of new boots. He's new to skiing and is taking an interest in park specifically. He's riding Soul Rider 84s on Attack 11 demo bindings. Our local bootfitter recommended two boots for him. The first is the Rossignol Evo 70 and the other boot I believe was the Salomon X ACCESS 70 Wide.
My brother seemed to prefer the Rossi boots but I got the vibe that he was just agreeing with whatever the bootfitter was asking or what I said (he was shy/nervous for some reason).
Before buying the boots I just wanted to make sure there wasn't anything important that I overlooked. What are your opinions on these boots? If both fit you, what technology would you prefer and why? Shopping for kids is hard.
