Stiffer Full Tilt Tongues???

So I have the green drop kicks from a few seasons ago and they've worked pretty well for me. But over the past couple seasons my skiing has been progressing and I've gotten quite a bit more aggressive and gotten a little heavier as well. I feel like I might benefit from having a stiffer flex in my boot and was wondering if anyone had experience swapping out their stock (6 flex tongues) for an 8 or 10 flex. Was there a considerable difference? Would you recommend doing so?

Mine came stock with #10s (Seth Morrison's 2015 model) and I've tried the 8 tongue before in stores but haven't skied it. I hardly felt a difference but keep in mind my Morrison's are broken in and the shop boots were deadstock.
