Hey I’ve been trying to decide between the Blizzard Cochise 2015 Or the Rossignol Soul 7 HD 2018 and was wondering if anyone has any input that might help me out.
Thanks.

You gotta give us more info about how you ski and where. Aside from that the Cochise has a reputation as a burly charger while the soul 7 hd is a little easier going

Biggest difference is going to be amount of effort needed engage the ski (and the subsequent characteristics that come with that). The Chochise has a 28 meter turn radius and is pretty damn stiff both vertically and laterally (as it has two sheets of metal and a very stout layup), this makes the ski feel a lot harder to move around however this added burl makes it significantly better at tracking through crud and holding an edge in icy conditions. The Soul 7 on the other hand is designed to be a lot easier to ride, its light and has a 18m radius (and I would imagine a softer flex pattern,) this is going to make the ski easier to turn at the cost of edge grip and stability in variable conditions. I would also imagine that given the shape and flex the Soul 7 is going to float better than the Cochise. If you have any more questions PM me, I can't speak much about the soul 7 but I ride the Cochise as my daily driver and I'm more than happy to provide input on the ski.
