Blizzard Cochise 2015 VS Rossignol Soul 7 HD 2018

You gotta give us more info about how you ski and where. Aside from that the Cochise has a reputation as a burly charger while the soul 7 hd is a little easier going

Biggest difference is going to be amount of effort needed engage the ski (and the subsequent characteristics that come with that). The Chochise has a 28 meter turn radius and is pretty damn stiff both vertically and laterally (as it has two sheets of metal and a very stout layup), this makes the ski feel a lot harder to move around however this added burl makes it significantly better at tracking through crud and holding an edge in icy conditions. The Soul 7 on the other hand is designed to be a lot easier to ride, its light and has a 18m radius (and I would imagine a softer flex pattern,) this is going to make the ski easier to turn at the cost of edge grip and stability in variable conditions. I would also imagine that given the shape and flex the Soul 7 is going to float better than the Cochise.
