Look Pivots or Tyrolia Attacks for mounting on Moment Deathwish?

Alright so I’ve searchbarred this a bunch and have only ended up more confused.
Should I go with the pivot 14s or attacks for mounting on the Moment Deathwish (112mm underfoot)? From what I understand people say the Attacks are better for wider skis, but I don’t understand why that would be.
I have FKS 14s (same as pivots basically) on my current park skis and have loved them to death but don’t want to buy a binding that is apparently not the best for wider skis. Not sure if that’s true or not but that’s what I’ve read.
I’m also biased toward the Pivots because of the pivot heel and all the knee safety that comes with it. I’ve never had a knee injury and I’d like to keep it that way - from what I understand, pivots are great in that respect. Not sure how much of a difference it really makes but I’ve always felt really safe in my pivots due to the option of a lateral heel release and happy ligaments.
Can anyone make a good case for the Attacks on a wider ski, or just in general?

I run Attack 13s on all of my skis but they are literally all park skis. Personally I think I'd go with Pivots 14s if I bought a fatty All MTN or pow ski because weight is less of a big deal and you might need something a little more sturdy/something made of metal in those situations. Plus it's not like a park ski where you buy new skis all of the time (I know bindings are reusable but still). But honestly they are both killer bindings and I think you are fine either route. Attack 13s can be found dirt cheap and are pretty solid but Pivots are bomb proof.
Also I don't really understand what you mean by the wide ski thing. I have Attack 13s on two sub 90 waist skis (Vishnu Wets and K2 Domains) and have no issues.

the wide ski reference is most likely people talking about how the Attack is a binding that was designed somewhat recently, and has a wider footprint that seems like it should have improved control over the wider skis we use nowadays
i can't tell you how true that is or how much of an effect it makes, but i can say that Attacks are great bindings. basically my approach nowadays is: get pivots ideally, or get Attacks if cost or weight is a primary concern of yours

It literally doesn't matter. Either will be fine on your ski. The width question is not really valid at this point IMO. Both bindings have plenty wide mounting patterns.
People worship the Pivot because of a perceived safety advantage (not really proven) and the fact that the 18 DIN version is all metal. You're considering the 14 DIN which isn't all metal, so it doesn't realy matter.
Pivots are a touch harder to get back into in deep snow, not a huge deal, but if you're splitting hairs it's worth knowing.
Aaatacks are also great bindings. They're a little lighter, but not enough to really matter. The newer Aaatacks have an adjustable AFD, so you can run WTR soles in them. If you're into that then that might be a reason to get them. Either way though, you're on a good binding.
My Deathwishes have Pivots on them because that's what I had laying around. I wouldn't hesitate to put Aaatacks on them though. Either way you're on a great ski with good bindings.

Personally I trust the retention of pivots way more than attacks. I have pivots on both of my 116mm skis and there’s no way you can feel the difference from the wider toe of the attacks. If I’ve got the money for them I will always buy pivots over any other binding.
Can’t go wrong with either but the pivot is superior in terms of retention.
