Ski break width

I know there is some other threads regarding this but I wanted another opinion. I am buying either this years chronics (95 underfoot) or the armada arv 96. I want to buy some pivot bindings would a 95 be fine to use or should I buy the 115 one?

95 will be fine on skis up to maybe 100-105. Definitely go for the 95.

If you know those threads exist why didn't you read them this exact question was just asked a couple days ago. The 95mm brake is made to go on 95mm width skis, the 115 shouldn't even be a consideration.

Dude 95 brake width for 96 mm underfoot is totally fine. I have 95 mm brake pivots on my 102mm Factions and they still fit without bending.

Okay thanks, Also not sure whether to get the 164 or the 171 I’m 17, 5 foot 7 and I weigh about 125. My old skis are line tigersnakes which are 160 they feel to short are 170’s to long?

I am about your same size. Definitely go for the 171's. I started skiing park last year and went from 159's to 171's and haven't looked back once. You'll love them and you won't look disproportionate
