E mount lens for skiing

looking for a lens for an a6000 for skiing/outdoor any recommendations

I use Nikon adapters on my a6000 and use some Tamron wide angle I can’t remember exactly what it’s called works good though

Samyang/rokinon has a lot of cheap but pretty good manual lenses

you should be all manual if you're shooting video, relying on anything auto especially on a A6k is asking for blown shots.

as far as one lens for outdoor use it doesn't really exist, but something closest to all all around lens on full frame is a 24-105mm, so the APS-C equivalent for your A6k would be ~18-70mm but not sure if something like that exists.

Also somebody above mentioned adapters but I'd highly recommend against that. First off you lose the size/weight benefit of your small mirrorless body, and they are significantly less reliable vs. using native lenses. The only reason to use an adapter is if you already have significantly invested in another lens mount and you need a crutch while you switch to native

If you're looking for something wide, the rokinon 16mm f/2 is my go-to. It's manual and no OSS but is really sharp and durable.

If you need something that can do it all, the sony 18-105mm f/4 is awesome. Even for $500 it's decently sharp and has AF and OSS, I use mine all the time and love it.

you'll definitely want a wider lens for skiing, depending on how you're looking to film skiing.
My sigma 20mm prime was great on crop sensor, I find its a little wide for full frame so I might get a 35mm soon

it'd be ~45mm ff equivalent, getting close to ideal portrait focal length but for a single "skiing/outdoor" lens like you're looking for, I'd recommend a zoom lens, since its hard to have a do-it-all lens as a prime

if $ is an issue then you either buy a used zoom or buy cheap a set of old manual prime lenses and a ~$10 adapter. Mirrorless cameras can basically adapt to anything. But like I said there's no magic "do-it-all" lens, you just need to figure out your preferences and budget and slowly build your kit from there
