Park_RangerJust looked at his IG and yeah he broke his leg Feb 2017 on what would have been a super steezy dub 7. Doesn't look like he has really skied since. Still lists Go Pro, Head, and Oakley as sponsors... which is wild if they are still behind him.
AspenHey everyone.
I don't even know where to start with my current situation... I guess I'll start by saying yes I really do love skiing, and I wish more than anything I could be out in Utah or Colorado right now. As stated above, I broke my leg at the end on January of 2017 and that started this "downward spiral". Through all the yeats if my skiing, it was just my mom and I spending every penny we could straight up going broke and having to borrow money from family at times just to get to the next event. After breaking my leg, I could no longer work and couldnt really afford to stay in Utah and was in a way forced to move back to my flat hometown in Michigan. Also, with all the traveling, I fell super behind with school so i had to go back to a basic public school (writing this in 3rd hour actually). Right now my life simply consists of going to school and going to work, everyday. With this winter coming here (still no snow in Michigan) I'll be trying to make some edits at a local here in Michigan, but the jumps and tricks will be extremely sub-par, as I havent been able to ski in so long and I've grown like a foot since I've skied.
Also, to touch on this as well, a big thing about progressing every year is that I never had a coach, and for the first two years living in breck I I knew no one, and had no one to ski and progress with. Not trying to make excuse, just sayin.
Anyway, yes I'm alive, yes I still love skiing, and yes I hope to be back to my former self soon.
Thanks guys,
-Aspen

IdahoeGlad to hear your still around. for me and most of my friends you were a big inspiration as someone our age who could send more than we could even imagine so its cool to hear you are trying to get back into it.
shittyswrvskierWhere are you skiing in Michigan?
If you wanna shred this season my tricks are already sub-par and yours will look better by comparison
