Nose press is impossible

Lemuel2 inches is a lot of movement. I doubt your heel is lifting that much but regardless, your heel should not lift at all in a properly fit boot even while doing presses.

teamSESHThe toe ejecting thing is the worse. I have the same issue with my Attack 13s from time to time. Opening day there were a few big piles of snow next to the snow machines and I decided to ski up on top of one and do a nose press. Nope. Instead I eject and launch forward. I bellyflopped straight to flat hard packed snow and it was like a 10-13 foot drop... I wasn't expecting it so my arms were kind of to the side and I didn't brace for impact at all. I looked so dumb and my chest hurt the rest of the day. Every cough tasted like iron/blood.

TRVP_ANGELI think it's to do with attack 13s more than anything else. I'm also ejecting twice as much compared to my set of pivots. Both are on the same din

-WZ-Are you sure your releasing at the toe? Generally a nose press would cause heel release and you should check forward pressure

hubbardsguess youre right.. I called it a toe eject cause I fall out of the binding toe side. Heel eject is more accurate.

hubbardsthere are only two outcomes to my attempts at a nose press
1. my ankles lift partially in the boot (like one or two inches) and my whole body moves forward but not my boots or skis
2. I toe eject from my bindings
Two things have become apparent to me:
1. I need boots that secure my feet
2. I might need a slightly higher din if I cant put a little weight into a nose press without ejecting

The skis were black crows 186cm viators and I'm in the mid 170s
Thoughts? Are those conclusions correct?

satanworshipperI have the same problem and In can't butter cause of it. But then again my skis are pretty stiff

larilinesignSame bindings, same problem. I was all knee-ing into the press "yooouhh!" standing chest upright stiff top body inhaling straight up really quick and snapping out. Now I nose press with a big slow exhale bringing my forehead slowly forward toward the snow into a slow low press. Slow and deep exhale forehead slowly toward the snow. Haven't had the eject problem when I'm not jerking out upright.

Edit: let your whole body go down into the nose butter. You got soft skis, right?

themozzebanYou should probably put some after market springs in ur bindings to make the dins higher then do some math and try to crank them to 18-20. That should help with the ejection problem
