Vishnu wets or on3p magnus

Hey guys I’m 15, 5’6” and about 120 ish pounds. I’m definitely still growing to prob about 5’9 or 5’10” and I want to know if I should get the 177 Vishnu wets or the 171 or 176 on3p magnus’s? They will be center mounted too. I spend most of my time in the park and I’m a type 3 skier. I currently ride short asf 158 Volkl transfer 81’s lol. What do y’all think I should get.

on3p. I have the wets now and have had a ton of fun on them, but wish I had a somewhat stiffer of a ski for going big.

I personally like the look of the Magnus more than the Vishnu’s but I’ve heard both are good skis. I’ve heard that on3ps ride kinda short so you could probably go with 176

my vishnus are dumb soft and easy to control due to their light weight. I would highly recommend them!

Are they durable tho? Like if they are so much better than why r they so much more cheap?🤷‍♂️

Also what about weight? Like I said I’m only 5’6” and 120ish, I don’t know if someone my size and weight can control a big heavy ski like that and still be playful and fun.

I personally got the Wets but you could go either route. It depends on what kind of riding you do. If it's all rails? Go Vishnu. If you are hitting a decent amount of jump lines as well (but mainly doing rails still)? Go with the Magnus's.



If you're mainly hitting jumps then don't get either.

This is my first season on them so I can't speak in terms of long term durability, however I chose this ski from online testimonies from everyone else saying how they are very dependable. The Vishnu team vids are gas and they ski concrete, rocks, and other rough surfaces and the skis seem to hold up just as well if not better than other skis on the market. I have slammed a couple rocks in the early preseason when my mountain had only two trails open and I looked at my bases expecting them to be completely whack but I didn't see any core shots or even scratches. Hope this helps.

I'm 5'8" and 140 lbs. these are the lightest ski I have ever owned. The swing weight makes it easy to spin and allows you to have more control over your skis in my opinion.

I’m also for now only hitting like 6ft kickers, will these be stable enough for that AND bombproof because I zoom down the mountain with my friends hiring side jumps and stuff but I basically bomb it to the park. I also ski in the east coast so mainly groomers, ice, or loose snow.

Doesn't sound like you even need a stable ski lol. Or anything that bombproof. What you are doing is very tame and either of these skis will be completely fine.

Pretty sure the Wets are sold out right now so you probably have to go ON3P or something else. I wouldn't limit yourself to these two skis unless you have a specific reason. I went with the Wets for their rocker specifically and because I want to see them stick around but there are other great options from companies like Moment, J Skis, RMU, Icelantic, Line, K2, Armada, etc. I could literally list every single ski company as they all make great products.
