Looks super sick, pretty much what I was expecting, 108ti and 99ti look pretty mint, can anyone comment on the major differences from the pinnacle line? Titanal I understand, but are they supposed to be more playful as well as more chargy, or? And release date? Weights are higher than I expected, but as a resort ski theyre not off the charts...

Way different than the Pinnacles. The Mindbenders are much more focused on stability, while the Pinnacles were more focused on maneuverability and forgiveness. The Pinnacle's actually also had titanal, but the Mindbender's far less tapered shapes offer much more effective edge. The longitudinal and torsional flex patterns are also very different. I'm super stoked on the 108 and 99 - really fun skis.
As for playfulness, the Mindbenders aren't as loose and surfy as the Pinnacles (though you can still pretty easily throw them sideways). But the mindbender's flex patterns (particularly the 108) are a bit less directional than the Pinnacles, so the Mindbenders definitely have a bit of a playful feel to them. Not a freestyle ski, but not some flat-tailed, one-dimensional ski, either. I'm stoked to move the bindings forward on the 108 and 99 to see if I can get them to feel a bit looser and balanced.
We'll have a First Look of the 108 and a podcast with Jed Yeiser, one of the designers behind the line, up on Blister within the next hour or so.

Some shops will have a few pairs of the 90, 99, and 108ti available now.

I'm touring on Sick Day 104's, does the 108 feel like a burlier inbounds Sick Day? If I could move the mount up a bit and still have a playful directional ski, I'd be onboard.
patagonialukeCurious — is he riding them on the recommended line? Just got some time on two of the skis and I'm a huge fan, but am very interested in messing with the mount point a bit.
No he went core center, which is not the same as a straight pull measured center. I have not been going that far forward, more 2-3cm infront of rec. apart from the 99 I like that at rec.

I'd say there's a bit of similarity in terms of the overall feel, but the Mindbender 108 Ti feels like a much more substantial and damp ski, especially on firm snow. They're both great carvers, but the SD 104 is more energetic while the Mindbender is much more damp (though you can still get some energy out of it in a turn).
The SD 104 feels a bit more playful and loose, though I'm planning on lightly detuning the tails on the Mindbender to see if I can loosen it up without losing much edge hold. It's still pretty easy to slash the Mindbender (made easier when mounted at roughly -8 from center), but it's not quite as loose as the SD 104.
Overall, you could think of it as a much more stable, more inbound-oriented SD 104.

I think one is the new Slicer? Rumor has it there will be a fatter playful ski in their lineup that falls between old slicer and Proto.
I'm not a fan of the graphics, at all. I prefer this years Proto or the Pro Riders from 2 years ago.
Rum_HamSo do you want it to be less sloppy or like the wet? Seems like a contradiction.
Have you ridden both the Wets and the Domains? The Wets are easier to butter yet still less sloppy than the Domains (IMO). I own both and I can ride the whole mountain much easier on my Wets. The weight is a big reason but it must also be the shape and/or materials. Or it's just me... Idk. I have Attack 13s center mounted on both and use my FT Morrison's with each of them. Only difference is the Domains have the original Attack 13 and the Wets have my Attack2 13s.

I'm the guy Tom is referring to, I've got them at core centre, turns out to be -3 from true measured centre. My first non twin non Centre mounted ski i have had in awhile and its good fun to rally around on.
.Asain-SkiierAnyone have any info on next years bdogs? I have heard some very interesting things about them.
Two models. Normal + Zero. Zero is completely edgeless. $549 + $499. Having tested edgeless skis before, I very much look forward to seeing people learn how to stop all over again.

New Zero line has a more prototype-looking graphic theme - definitely helps to separate it from main line.
Nice to see Armada not staying quiet on the graphic side, too. Some graphics are not my personal jam, but nice to have someone moving volume with some loud graphics. I get sick of seeing 100 different skis from 10 different brands that are just various different colors with a logo on em. Sales wise, I know why that is (the business side makes complete sense), but after awhile just makes looking at skis all day boring.
Mindbender impressed, new Bacon looks wildly fun on hardpack, but besides that, pretty much business as usual.

So many plain and boring graphics next year. Colors are getting more muted and pastely across the board.
New Line touring skis look intriguing, crazy light.
