Replying to Helmet inspo

last year i kinda stopped wearing a helmet in the park at bush, and it was almost entirely because I saw older, better skiers without them. It was the first time in a while i felt like i was negatively influenced by older kids (lmao) not like a peer pressure thing but i just stopped wanting to wear it. Flash forward to this season and I have this really vivid dream. Im hitting this urban feature and i slammed, pretty hard i guess but i walked it off. later on though I am walking around and feel this sharp pain on my head. i feel it up and see theres blood on my hand. I go to look in a mirror and when i pull my hair back my head looks like someone dropped a melon on the ground. I mean my entire forehead was split open. I woke up and think to myself "I think im gonna wear my helmet today." Skied a handful of days since with it on and im starting to get used to it. Anyone else have any stories where they were inspired to wear a helmet that wasnt directly related to skiing.
